Pictures of snowy mountains make the perfect art work as photography can be
just a gratifying as a painting, especially after the lovely San Bernardino Mountains have been capped in the recent snowfall.

Favorite Drawings: My Watercolor Leopard Drawing and Hawaiian Sunset
Here are a few of my favorite drawings. I have always
been interested in African animals, and I drew this leopard back in November of 2007. Water colored pencils were used
to add vibrant color, and yes I love bold color in my drawings and paintings.
Here is the Hawaiian sunet drawing I created
with pencils and water colored pencils. I have an immense love for literature of the Pacific, and for drawing pictures
inspired by this region. Last night I even heard from a man from Hawaii who enjoyed by hub on Literature of the Pacific, and that was a fun way to connect with someone who loves all things Polynesian.
Christmas time was so much fun that I actually
forgot to update my arts and crafts blog. I wrote a fun article on how to make a cross stitched gingerbread boy, and you are welcome to check it out if this is a craft you might enjoy. Also check out the video below to see the
gingerbread boy in more detail.
I enjoy drawing, painting, woodburning, and many other artistic
activities. I will be discussing my various projects, favorite books, and other opinions on this blog.
This is a drawing of an American bear I made in 2003. I created
him by using simple colored pencils and keeping my eyes on the subject more than on the paper. One of the best art tips
I can give you is the keep your eyes on the subject and not on the paper, which will help you to learn how to draw more quickly.
