Hanging My DrawingMy drawing is completed and I put it in a frame and hanged it on
the wall. I love to buy cheap frames at Walmart, the Dollar store, or any other places that has bargains. My dad
buys really cheap used frames at second hand stores, so do not think you need to spend a lot of money to find a nice frame.
Some of the nicest frames I own are from the second hand store and were brand new. Never judge a picture frame
by its price tag.

Hawaiian Sunset DrawingI began this drawing a few weeks ago because I wish I could
go back to Hawaii, so drawing pictures of it is the next best thing. I like to shad in the palm trees first because
it gives depth to the picture when I go over it with the colored pencils.
After I sketch and shade in the trees, I go ahead and draw in the the rest of the details of the Hawaiian sunset.
Take your time and do not feel that you have to rush. Sometimes I spend up to two weeks on a drawing because I enjoy
adding special details.
Once I am finished with sketching in the details, I continue to color my drawing.
I am almost done at this point, but you can see the progress below. Take your time and enjoy.

Today Is The Beginning of My New WebsiteI am very excited about my new and wonderful website I will be
sharing with you I want to discuss some of my art work. I made this painting of a heart. I used a saying about a heart
to complete it. This would be a good craft idea for Valentine's Day or any other day.

I enjoy drawing, painting, woodburning, and many other artistic
activities. I will be discussing my various projects, favorite books, and other opinions on this blog.
My American Bear Drawing:
This is a drawing of an American bear I made in 2003. I created
him by using simple colored pencils and keeping my eyes on the subject more than on the paper. One of the best art tips
I can give you is the keep your eyes on the subject and not on the paper, which will help you to learn how to draw more quickly.
